Iranian export product verticals

Iran's export economy spans agriculture, handicrafts, industrial minerals and petrochemicals, and the international buyer's challenge is rarely finding a supplier — it is finding a verified supplier whose grade claim, documentation and logistics match what the buyer's destination market requires. The seven verticals below are the categories Palude has built its supplier network around, and each vertical page is a working sourcing guide rather than a marketing brochure: grade specifications, minimum order quantities, lead times, packaging formats, the export documentation you will receive, and the destination-compliance notes that determine whether the cargo clears your customs without dispute.

The food verticals — saffron, pistachios, dates and dried fruits, and golden almonds and gift boxes — share a common documentation backbone: phytosanitary certification, ISO or HACCP lab certificates, and destination-specific food-safety compliance (EU aflatoxin limits, Russian large-importer standards, GCC halal certification). The industrial verticals — travertine, marble and bitumen and polyethylene, methanol and urea — share a refinery-certificate and ASTM-spec backbone. The Persian carpet vertical is the outlier, with authentication, provenance and Cultural Heritage permits replacing the food and chemical certification framework.

Buyers running a multi-vertical sourcing programme — for example, a distributor importing saffron and pistachios together, or a construction programme importing stone alongside petrochemicals — benefit from consolidating the programme through a single export desk. The documentation, payment routing and logistics are handled once rather than per-supplier, and the per-ton logistics cost falls as the consolidated volume rises. If you are evaluating which verticals fit your programme, the detailed pages below are the place to start; if you already know your requirement, request a sourcing quote and an advisor will respond within one business day.
